You may have noticed the beautiful murals that hang in the main hallway of John Lyman School. These murals were created by classes last spring through an arts grant. The project was accomplished through a partnership with the arts department of Wesleyan University.
It is our goal to have fourth grade students carry on the mural work each year. This year we are lucky enough to have JLPA's support in funding the project. We are, once again, partnering up with artists from Wesleyan to create wall murals that connect to our Native American study. It will be an exciting experience!
Our fourth grade students will work in small groups on Friday mornings (from about 9:15-10:00).
